Here at Teacherly, we’re always growing and adapting our platform to enhance the way you plan your lessons. Check out what’s new for June:

You’re going live:

With many of our customers looking for ways to live stream art or science lessons, we showed them the secure and private live stream feature within Teacherly — minimising the number of apps they need to use for remote teaching.

However, we didn’t stop there, we took it a step further!

Teacherly live lessons can also be streamed through YouTube live. The great thing about this is that students can watch a Teacherly lesson through their smart TV, helping to bridge the gap between those homes with devices and those without. Now every student can watch a live lesson directly from their living room, improving access to education, wherever they are.

You’re taking control:

Our new release gives you full control of your lesson creation, allowing you to create as many sections and phases within your lesson as you wish.

After speaking with our customers we found they wanted to break free of a structured template and organize their lessons their way, have a look at everything you can now do when creating a lesson:

  • Divide up your lessons into sections which can now be renamed as per your teaching needs, in addition, there is no cap to the number of sections that can be added to a lesson.
  • Organize the sections of your lesson with an unlimited number of phases
  • Enjoy the freedom to move your phases within various sections of a lesson
  • Whilst previously the platform had limited capabilities with images, you can now freely resize and enlarge images you use for your lessons.

With all this control and flexibility, we’re confident that you and your department will be able to work collaboratively in real-time to plan and organize your lessons in the most efficient and effective way possible!
